Delightful studios and apartments in Kefalonia. An ideal and convenient place to base yourself whilst in Kefalonia. The property is set in the quiet hamlet of Tzamarelata, which is only 10 minutes drive from Fiscardo and within walking distance of the village of Manganos.
The tourist resort Il Veliero is placed in a hilly and quiet site, on a 5.000 sq.mt. land, full of flowers and olive trees, with sea and sunset view rooms.
We are in the north-western part of the Island at only 2.5 km from the sea and quite near Fiskardo and Assos: the oldest and most picturesque little ports of Kefalonia where you can be swailowed up by the typical Greek atmosphere among local restaurants, taverns, cafeterias, pubs and handicrafts shops accompanied with Zorba's notes.

From the balconies of the rooms sea and sunset views are really wondeful. Rooms are comfortable and furnished with good taste. Very high ceilings, with decorative wooden beams, are so well insulated that the rooms are always very fresh and ventilated. The owners Vittorio and Edith are so friendly that you will spend your holidays in the most calm and pleasant atmosphere.

The spectacular sea views are of Assos and the Kakata peninsula - this part of the island is also renowned for it's magnificent sunset. The rooms are modern and spacious. They have also been furnished and artistically decorated to a high standard by the resident owners.
There are two types of accommodation available at il Veliero:

Studios:
Comprising a large single room with kitchenette, dining area and a bathroom with shower, wash-basin and wc. The studios are roomy and can accommodate up to 2 people in comfort. Two of the studios are on the ground floor, the third is at the first floor, everyone whith a private habitable terrace, sea and sunset view.
The change of towels and bed sheets occurs every 4 days. Each studio has a ceiling fan, although the nights are usually cool.

Apartments:
These are slightly larger than the studios but with a similar layout; each apartment can accommodate up to 3 people in comfort when using an additional bed. Apartments have their own balconies with glorious sea views. Kitchens are well equipped with two ringed electric ovens and a fridge. The bathroom is equipped whith a shower, wash-basin and wc.
The change of towels and bed sheets occurs every 4 days. Each studio has a ceiling fan, although the nights are usually cool.
